Nutra Organics

Founded by Mark & Darlene in 1998, who were viewed by their community as the ‘crazy health food people’, it was not uncommon for them to be seen consuming items such as mung bean sandwiches and putting garlic in their kids' socks at the very first sign of a cold. On top of this, they would also create and share herbal remedies for any ailment.

Mark, who was in his 30s and studying naturopathy at the time, had a realisation that even though his family were eating a balanced wholefood diet, they weren’t receiving all the necessary nutrients due to the decreased quality of soil and produce. With this in mind, he decided to take action and begin blending nutrient-dense superfoods to naturally improve their health and fill any nutritional gaps.

Not surprisingly, their community became hooked on the results after seeing and feeling significant improvements in their wellbeing. Thus, Nutra Organics was born.

For a long time it was just Mark, Darlene and their two daughters Ricki & Brit running the business and making huge personal sacrifices, including selling their family home, to make sure that their vision of nourishing the community sustainably could become a reality.

Fast forward 25 years and the Nutra Organics family has grown into a team of nutritionists, naturopaths & health experts who are all united by their shared passion to improve the health of families through pure, wholesome foods that are delicious and simple to incorporate into everyday life.

The journey of Nutra Organics is an inspiring example of what can be achieved with dedication, love and hard work. It’s a story that resonates with many and continues to inspire the team today.
